  2. Excellent choices. Im seeing Taxi Driver tonight. But i agree that Piper Laurie, Olivia de Haviland(although on my last rewatch i prefered Hattie McDaniel by a little), Amy Adams(Junebug), Rinko Kikuchi, Jenifer Jason Leigh, Chloe Sevigny, Patty Duke(she is more of a co-lead) and Rooney Mara(she is clear lead) are one of the greatest performances this category has ever nominated or rewarded. Havent seen other ladies that got here 5.

    1. I guess I love McDaniel a little less than most people but I'm glad you do. And I agree that both Duke and Mara are leading (I can see Duke as supporting though, I used to put her in that category actually, but Mara is obviously, unquestionably lead).

  3. I completely agree with you about the top ten! And thank you for doing this list, I know it must have been extremely unwieldy and hard. :)

    1. You're welcome :) it wasn't that hard to be honest even if a few performances might change of a few spots in the future.

  4. I have a strong feeling Carol Channing is not going to leave your bottom 5. She may not be last in the final result, but still.

    1. I can already tell you that she is not going to be last when I finish all the year, but there is a strong possibility she'll remain in the bottom 5.
